True Blood Review

True blood is a blood thirsty TV series you can really sink your teeth into — no pun intended! It’s an original series that really differs from the typical supernatural shows… I started watching True Blood when my friend at university recommended it to me.

I’ve never been a fan of this vampire phenomenon but I decided to give it a chance. Well, let me just tell you now True Blood was a complete shock for me! After the first episode I was on the edge of my seat and I wanted to find out what happened next.

The series is filled with nail biting scenes and surprising twists at the end of every episode! One thing I might add is the amount of nudity in this television series but it’s not meant for the younger generation – That’s why twilight exists!

It’s not suitable for the faint hearted. I watched 5 episodes in a row one night because I couldn’t sleep until I knew what happened. The cliffhangers are brilliant! Sookie, the main character is annoying at times. She always ends up in the bad situations and you shout at the TV at her for being so stupid!

Also, I think it’s pretty cool that she reads minds, it’s an interesting twist on her character. If you like a jam packed show filled with vampires, werewolves, witches and fairies – True Blood is the show for you!

Congratulations, You’re Autistic!

You’re autistic! The words I’ve been waiting to hear for over thirty-one years. To have my whole existence validated and understood. Finally!

Today I had my official autism assessment. And I cried. It was a huge relief. It’s been a long journey to get to this moment. Just hearing the words “yes, you’re autistic” felt like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. I finally felt heard. And that’s a powerful thing!

Being thirty has been a wonderful experience. I remember spending a lot of time in my twenties worrying about reaching the start of this decade. I had the preconceived idea that being in my thirties meant the end of my youth or that I was running out of time to create the life I wanted for myself. But it has felt like the opposite of that for me. My thirties feel like a resurgence. Like I am finally becoming more comfortable with who I am.
